Nathaniel Eyinnanya

My name is Nathaniel Eyinnanya also known as Purest Angel. I’m a Fashion Designer, a fashion Illustrator, a social entrepreneur and a teacher; I teach the art of tailoring; how to sew and the business of fashion. Over the years I’ve garnered wealth of knowledge and experience in the fashion industry and I”m the Founder of Purest Angel Clothing (PAC) and Convener of Project Let us Sew – (Project LUS: PLUS). I’ve trained thousands of Fashionpreneurs across the country. I never stop learning neither would I stop sharing my knowledge.

PROJECT LET US SEW (PLUS) is a signature effort of my team and I, targeted at freely educating women, men and youths with tailoring skills and other crafts locally and internationally. PLUS is a multiple award winning initiative, and has so far trained over 15,000 persons.

Some of my favourite quotes include:
✂ Sewing may be hard, but hunger is harder
✂ Have a beautySEW day
✂ The best way to eat an elephant is to cut it into bits. Similarly, the best way to make a garment, is to first cut it into pieces.
✂ Face your hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly life challenges once at a time. “No gara gara”, just jejely win your own personal life race.
Get your plans on, and face life issue one step at a time.
✂ Just like trying to sew a beautiful new fabric with old and blunt needle – nah it ain’t gonna work. Consider every step before moving – measure it.
✂ Change needle (tactics).
✂ Use the right needle size on different fabrics (adopt new method to solving new challenges that comes with every situation).
✂ Set your machine right (work on yourself)

✂ In today’s world, it is very easy to lose focus due to increasing numbers of physical and digital reasons. Little wonder while growing up, my parents would say “don’t study with the TV on”.
Multitasking may be a necessity in today’s fast-paced world, but distraction affects results.

How Tailors can maintain FOCUS:
👌 Keep your vision and goals in mind.
👀 Reduce the chaos of your day by focusing on 2 to 3 important tasks. No need crowding your day with white elephant projects.
📌 Do those tasks as soon as possible – DON’T PROCRASTINATE.
📅 DON’T do tomorrow what you can do today
🔭 Focus on only the smallest part of your work at a time.
✂ Visualize yourself working, make the patterns and sew in your mind always.
💭 Control your internal distractions.
📉 Keep your vision and goals in mind.
📱Turn off smart phone notifications, kill digital distraction.
📩 Read/Answer email only twice each day, unless when it’s urgently important.
⌚ Complete 1-2 minute projects immediately without procrastinating.
📝 Write out your plans clearly and be intentional about it. 🚶Establish a healthy morning routine. 📺 Cancel cable / unplug television.

✂ No man is an island, reason the holy book says can two work together unless they agree?
In the ever fast and never ending evolving world of garment making, no tailor can  survive without working with another.
For example, take a look at the most simplest sewing tool in the universe, the needle and thread.
None is complete without the other.
Coperation is the action or process of working together to the same end.

The following words can be used in place of COOPERATION: collaboration, working together, joint action, combined effort, teamwork, mutual support, partnership, coordination, liaison, association, synergy, unity, concurrence, concord, accord, understanding, give and take, compromise etc.
As we look ahead, planing ahead, add COOPERATION to your plans and see how seamlessly your results will be.
✂ No lone wolf when it comes to business, as two can chase ten thousand.
✂ Seek collaboration, as this is the hidden secret of most fruitful businesses round the world.
